Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Argus QA ("Argus", "the Service"), operated by GlobalNodes Technologies. By signing in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Argus.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use Argus.
- You sign in via Google OAuth; you're responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
- One person per account. Sharing credentials violates these Terms.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (rate-limit evasion, malicious targets, harassment).
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use Argus to:
- Generate or run tests against websites, applications, or infrastructure you do not own or have explicit written authorization to test.
- Test private, internal, or metadata-service URLs (127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.0/8, cloud metadata IPs, etc.). Our SSRF guard already blocks these; attempting to circumvent it violates these Terms.
- Conduct denial-of-service, brute-force, or password-spraying attacks.
- Store or exfiltrate credentials that are not yours.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties without a separate written agreement.
- Use Argus in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service (and cooperate with law enforcement where required) if we have reasonable grounds to believe your usage violates these terms.
4. Your content
- You retain ownership of everything you submit: requirements, uploads, credentials, test cases.
- You retain ownership of the Playwright code Argus generates for you. You may use it commercially, modify it, and integrate it into any pipeline without paying us royalties.
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service (including sending it to Anthropic's Claude API for generation).
- You represent that you have the right to submit whatever you upload — that you own it or have licenses to any third-party content within it.
5. Plans, usage limits, and billing
- The Free plan includes a monthly test-generation cap.
- Paid plans are handled by Stripe. Billing is monthly or annual in advance.
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate refunds.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app banner. Existing subscribers keep their pricing until the next renewal.
- Overages beyond your plan's cap either (a) queue for the next month, or (b) require upgrade. We do not silently bill overages.
6. AI-generated content
Argus uses large language models (currently Anthropic Claude) to generate test code. LLM-generated output can contain errors, invalid selectors, or logic that doesn't match your intent. You are responsible for reviewing the generated code before running it against production systems. Argus provides tools (the linter, the runtime helpers, the failure-feedback loop) to reduce the rate of bad output, but no automated system is perfect. Do not treat Argus output as a substitute for human code review on safety-critical systems.
7. Third-party services
Argus depends on Anthropic, Google (OAuth, Fonts, Analytics), Stripe, and AWS. Outages or price changes at these providers may affect the Service. We are not liable for downstream provider issues, but we make reasonable efforts to communicate them.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
Argus is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above may not fully apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. In no event will we be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost revenue, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of (a) your content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your use of the Service in a way that violates any third party's rights or applicable law.
11. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time by emailing privacy@globalnodes.ai. We may suspend or terminate your account for material violation of these Terms with reasonable notice (except where immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users). Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, warranties, liability, dispute resolution) will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, India. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
